We are within 5 minutes walk of the sea and there is wi-fi internet access throughout our bed and breakfast. Our lovely bed and breakfast is a family run guesthouse accommodation and has a charming dining room which is pleasantly appointed with separate tables. We are a family friendly B&B guest house and welcome you to bring children. Cots are available for small children as well as high chairs during breakfast.

Breakfast is 8.30 - 9am (early breakfast as required)


One can take advantage of dining out at a very wide choice of restaurants within Broadstairs, catering for all types of cuisine from around the world. The bedrooms are large and tastefully decorated and furnished to a good standard of comfort, all rooms are fully en-suite with tea & coffee making facilities, colour TV and central heating. We have a lounge open at all times for your convenience where you may prefer to relax with a book. We also welcome guests friends. This attributes to a warm friendly ambience both in the lounge or well stocked bar. Many a new friend has been made here! There is also a garden terrace for the long summer evenings. One feels immediately at home here away from all the rush and stress of every day life. You can finally return home from our B&B accommodation feeling refreshed and replenished.

Rooms are available from 2pm on day of arrival, and to be vacated promptly by 10am on day of departure. Staff need to ensure that each room is in pristine condition for any incoming guests.

You will be given a key to enable access to Merriland Bed & Breakfast Guesthouse, and your room at all times.

There is limited off street car parking, and a regular local bus service within 5 minutes walk of the hotel. There is also the main line train station just a quarter of a mile away. To find us see the map on the contact page or call with any enquiries.
